Pictures of my experimenting
I have made some test coils to measure.
As you se, I used some small
magnets just to learn and understand, but very soon i realized
that they
ware to small and without the power I needed, so now I have ordered some heavy
magnets from
www.supermagnete.de in Germany, hoping
they arrive this week.
These new magnets (S-35-20-N)
has a heavy
power. 35 m.m. in diameter and 20 m.m. high, and they cane lift 38 KG weights.
Handling these I must be very careful. The would crack your harddisk, mobilfon
and other devices with the heavy
magnetic field.
I also realized, that the soft
iron magnet core must be greater then these small 10 m.m. x 100 m.m. long
rods,
you se at this picture.
I was lucky to find a ferrite rod at a local HAM-friend.

This one have bin used in some
old DECCA equipment, he told me, and inside the Pertinax pipe, I found
2 x Ferrite rods 32 x 63 m.m., and they fit perfectly into the Pertinax pipe.
My plan is to make this:
I would use 2 AIR-GAB-Coils C
and D, with a magnet A and B, to drive the UNIT.
I have to make sure, that the coils i winded in correct way, to make the
STOP-FIELD of the FLUX.
In memory of my late Mother's
birds day to day, the 19. January 2011, she would have bin 98 years to day,
I stared with the aluminum holders.
Here is a picture of my Lab:
As you se, it is a HAM-RADIO-LAB, with a lot of mess, hihi
21.01.2011.
To day the magnet arrived.
I have started to wind the coil.
The coils resistant is 1,5 Ohm,
and made of 1,25 m.m. Transformer wire. I wish I had some more..
I am sure that I have to experiment more with this coil.
| If there will be enough power from the FLUX, I hope there will be more than enough to drive the unit device. | |
This is my whirring machine.
The 2 AIR-GAB-coils would be mounted parallel, and give a total of about 11 Ohm. This would use a little more than 1 Amp. with a 12 volt supply.
MORE to Come...
